The Indiana Fever conclude the regular season series with the Sparks as Los Angeles makes its only trip to Indiana Farmers Coliseum during the 2021 regular season on Tuesday night. The Sparks have claimed victory in 11 of the last 12 games against the Fever, including both previous matchups in Los Angeles this season.

Last time out for Indiana on Saturday at the Coliseum saw the Las Vegas Aces win 87-71. Teaira McCowan came up three assists shy against the towering Aces front court of becoming the first Fever player to ever record a triple-double, as she finished with her 25th double-double of her career and her ninth this season with 12 points and 13 rebounds. The seven assists also set a new career-high for the third-year center. Kelsey Mitchell and Tiffany Mitchell each scored a team-high 15 points while each made six field goal attempts. Emma Cannon started the second consecutive game of her career, and also signed a third 7-day contract with the Fever on Sunday. Lindsay Allen came off the bench and led the Fever reserves with 11 points. It was the second time in her career scoring double figures in consecutive games.

Tuesday will be the fifth game of a six-game roadtrip for the 10-16 Sparks. LA dropped the last two games at Connecticut before coming to Indy, and another loss came against Washington last Tuesday. Despite entering Tuesday’s matchup last in the league in offensive scoring output, Los Angeles is led by Nneka Ogwumike’s 13.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season. Erica Wheeler, who starred for the Fever from 2016-20, comes into Tuesday averaging 13.6 points and a team-high 4.6 assists per game.

The Sparks enter Tuesday swiping the second most steals per game defensively in the WNBA. Wheeler and Brittney Sykes both rank in the top 12 across the league in steals per game. Second-year forward Lauren Cox returns to Indiana for the first time since being waived by the Fever on June 27. Cox has appeared in 10 games for Los Angeles so far this season.

The Fever close out the four-game homestand at the Coliseum at 1 p.m. on Saturday and 7 p.m. on Monday against the Phoenix Mercury. Tickets are still available for both games.
