- Indiana (8-7) travels to San Antonio (4-12) for a matchup with the Stars Tuesday afternoon for its final game before the All-Star break. The Fever were forced to reschedule their July 18 game in Connecticut due to weather related issues departing from Washington following a 68-50 loss last Friday.
- The Fever’s game at Connecticut has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. ET at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
- The loss to the Mystics 7/17 ended a Fever five-game win streak.
- Six points in the third quarter versus Washington marks a season-low for Indiana.
- Indiana, averaging 79 points per game, was limited to 18-of-57 shooting (31 percent) Friday night, while scoring its fewest points since a 50-48 defeat seven years ago on the same floor, falling 50-48 to the Mystics, July 8, 2008.
- Indiana got double-figure scoring from a pair of University of Maryland alums, Marissa Coleman and Lynetta Kizer, who both returned to their hometowns near the nation’s capital. Coleman scored 11 points while Kizer contributed 10 points and eight rebounds against Washington.
- Kizer leads the team with 52.9 field goal percentage, which ranks sixth best in the league.
- Indiana won three straight road contests from 6/16-6/30 — tied for the longest streak in team history.
- The Fever bench has outscored its opponents in all eight wins this season and 12 of 15 games overall. Indiana currently leads the WNBA in bench scoring with an average of 29.4 points per game.
- Despite leading the WNBA in three-point percentage this season, the Fever attempted only four three-point field goals in the win over Washington, 7/2, the fewest in any game in franchise history.
- Tamika Catchings passed Taj McWilliams-Franklin (3,013) into third place on the WNBA’s all-time rebounding list in the first quarter of the win over Tulsa, 7/15. She needs 44 rebounds to pass Tina Thompson (3,070) for second place on the list. In the win over the Shock, Catchings finished with her fourth double-double of the season and 94th of her career – 3rd best in league history.
- June’s WNBA Rookie of the Month Natalie Achonwa will miss four games (July 15-21) as she competes in the Pan Am Games with the Canadian National Team. She ranks second among all rookies with 9.5 points per game.

(July 10, 2015) Marissa Coleman scored 12 of her career-high 25 points in a decisive third quarter, and Indiana beat the San Antonio Stars 83-76 Friday night. Indiana went on a 14-3 run in the third quarter, with 10 points from Coleman, to take its first double-digit lead of the game at 56-45. Lynetta Kizer added 13 points for Indiana and Tamika Catchings and Shenise Johnson had 11 apiece. Sophia Young-Malcolm scored a season-high 27 points for San Antonio. Kalana Greene’s steal and layup pulled San Antonio within 80-74 with 30 seconds remaining, but Indiana made 3-of-4 free throws to seal it.
Last Games
Fever: (July 17, 2015) Indiana’s five-game win streak was snapped last Friday night with a loss at Washington, 68-50. The Mystics took over in the third quarter, as Stefanie Dolson’s jumper and follow-up at the end of the period gave them a 22-point lead. The Fever managed just six points in the quarter and never recovered. Marissa Coleman led Indiana with 11 points and Lynetta Kizer added 10. Emma Meesseman and LaToya Sanders scored 14 points apiece for Washington.
Stars: (July 19, 2015) Elena Delle Donne had 29 points and 13 rebounds to help the Chicago Sky beat the San Antonio Stars 93-82 on Sunday. Chicago ran out to an 11-3 lead and a nine-point spurt at the start of the second quarter extended the lead to 17. San Antonio found themselves down 50-35 at the half. Danielle Adams led the Stars with 20 points.

Indiana is 16-13 all-time against San Antonio, counting nine wins in the last 12 games since 2009. The Fever have won four straight regular season games at San Antonio dating back to the 2011 season. Indiana owns an 8-3 series lead when playing at San Antonio. Marissa Coleman piled up a career-high 25 points as the Fever defeated the Stars 83-76 in the first meeting between the two teams this season.
