Fever guard Maggie Lucas had a big week overseas. The former Penn State All-American scored a game-high 27 points to lead French club Arras to a comfortable 87-69 win over COB Calais. Lucas made 5-of-9 attempts from 3-point range and also tallied five rebounds, three assists, and a steal in the victory.

For her exploits, Lucas is the latest recipient of the #FeverOverseas Player of the Week award. In her rookie season overseas, Lucas ranks second in Ligue Féminine de Basketball in scoring (18.9 points per game).

Meanwhile, three Fever players met up in Turkey in the clash between Adana ASKI and Edirne. Adana came away with a narrow 63-60 victory, thanks in large part to the efforts of Erlana Larkins and Briann January. Larkins posted another double-double, scoring 14 points and collecting 25 rebounds (yes, you read that right). January had a team-high 19 points and also dished out four assists. Marissa Coleman had 12 points and six rebounds for Edirne in the loss.

Elsewhere in Turkey, Lynetta Kizer’s Hatay club picked up its second straight win, edging out Canik Bld, 68-66. Kizer had 14 points and nine rebounds in the victory.

The Fever’s four players in Turkey can be found all over the list of the TKBL’s statistical leaders. Coleman is sixth in scoring (16.8 points per game), January is eight (16.2 points per contest), and Kizer is ninth (15.8 points per game). Larkins is now tied with Courtney Paris for the rebounding lead (12.2 boards per game). January ranks sixth in assists (4.4 per game). Coleman is seventh in steals (1.8 per game), just ahead of both January and Larkins (each averaging 1.6 per game).

Karima Christmas continues to put up big numbers in South Korea. She had 16 points and 12 rebounds in S-Birds’ 63-59 win over Hanabank on Jan. 30, then accumulated 27 points and 13 boards in an 83-79 win over Woori Hansae on Feb. 1.

Christmas ranks third in the WKBL in scoring (16.6 points per game), second in rebounding (9.1 per contest), and tied for second in steals (1.4 per night).
