It was another stellar week for the Fever’s contingent of players overseas, particularly for the pick-and-roll combination of Briann January and Erlana Larkins. January and Larkins led Adana ASKI to its ninth win in its last 10 games, a 70-58 victory over Canik Bld.

January was phenomenal in the victory, scoring a game-high 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting. January knocked down 4-of-7 attempts from 3-point range, dished out three assists, and collected three steals in the victory. For her efforts, she is this week’s #FeverOverseas Player of the Week.

Larkins, meanwhile, made just as big an impact. Though she scored just nine points, the tenacious forward collected 22 rebounds in the win, including 18 on the defensive end.

Elsewhere in Turkey, Marissa Coleman had 17 points, seven rebounds, and four steals to lead her club Edirne to a 67-64 win over Botas. Fellow Maryland Terrapin Lynetta Kizer had 14 points and nine rebounds, but her club Hatay fell to Mersin, 78-51.

Several Fever players continue to rank among the league leaders in Turkey. Kizer is second in the TKBL in scoring (18.9 points per game), while January is fifth (17.6 points per game) and Coleman is ninth (16.5 points per contest). Larkins is the league’s leading rebounder by a large margin, collecting 14.1 boards per night. January is sixth in assists (4.6 per game), while Coleman ranks seventh in steals (1.9 per game).

Shavonte Zellous and her club Fenerbahce played a pair of Euroleague games against fellow Turkish power Galatasaray, falling 59-57 on March 6 and winning 63-52 on March 11. Zellous had nine points and four rebounds in the victory, which helped Fenerbahce advance to the EuroLeague Final Four.

In France, Maggie Lucas returned to action on March 10, scoring 25 points and collecting seven rebounds in Arras’ 62-57 loss to Landes. Lucas made 5-of-6 attempts from 3-point range on the night and continues to rank second in Ligue Féminine de Basketball in scoring, averaging 18.1 points per game.
