The past week may have been the best all-around for the Fever’s overseas contigent. Seven Fever players are currently plying their trades internationally and all seven scored in double figures for their clubs this week, the first time that has happened this year.

In Turkey, Erlana Larkins and Briann January teamed up to lead Adana ASKI to a 66-65 win over Botas. January scored 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting, going 3-for-4 from beyond the 3-point arc. Larkins was dominant, scoring 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting and collecting 15 rebounds, five of them on the offensive glass. The duo also combined for five steals, two for January and three for Larkins.

Larkins received the EuroBasket.com Player of the Week award for her double-double and is also this week’s #FeverOverseas Player of the Week here at FeverBasketball.com. The former North Carolina Tar Heel ranks third in the TKBL in rebounding, averaging 10.6 boards per game and is shooting 57.7 percent from the field.

Elsewhere in Turkey, Marissa Coleman had 22 points and eight rebounds for Edirne in a 70-62 win over Istanbul Univ. Lynetta Kizer’s Hatay squad lost to Fenerbahce, but Kizer had a game-high 21 points and eight boards in the loss. Through 11 games, Coleman ranks third in the TKBL in scoring (18.2 points per game) and seventh in steals (2.0 per contest). Kizer is 15th in scoring, averaging 14.0 points a night.

Last week’s #FeverOverseas Player of the Week, Karima Christmas, had another strong week in South Korea. Her S-Birds club split a pair of games with Bichumi as Christmas recorded double-doubles in both contests. The former Duke standout had 19 points and 12 rebounds in a 62-61 loss on Jan. 8, then tallied 19 points and 19 boards (12 offensive) in a 55-39 win on Jan. 11. Christmas is fourth in the WKBL in scoring (15.6 points per game), second in rebounding (8.5 per game), and tied for fifth in steals (1.3 per contest).

In France, Fever guard Maggie Lucas had 20 points and six rebounds for Arras in a 65-53 loss to league-leading Bourges. Lucas remains the second-leading scorer in Ligue Féminine de Basketball, averaging 18.7 points per contest.

And in Israel, Natasha Howard had 10 points, four rebounds, and two steals in Elitzur Ramla’s 68-46 win over Asa Jerusalem. Howard ranks 11th in the Israeli league in scoring (16.6 points per game) and ninth in rebounding (8.5 per contest).
