Storylines & Promotion

  • Fans can catch all of Saturday night’s action live as the game will air on FOX Sports Indiana starting at 8:30 p.m.
  • The Fever fell for the fifth time in the last six games as they suffered a 76-62 loss to the Washington Mystics in their last outing Wednesday night. Indiana’s shooting woes continued as the team has shot a combined 35 percent from the field over those five losses.
  • Tamika Catchings was one of only three Fever players to record double-digit scoring in Wednesday’s loss, adding 10 points. Catchings scored a season-high 27 points against Seattle on June 12. She now leads the Fever with an average of 12.9 points per game.
  • After moving into eighth place on the WNBA’s career three-point list last Friday, Catchings needs two triples to pass former Mystics guard Kara Lawson (584) into seventh place for most three-pointers made in a career.
  • Lynetta Kizer recorded her fifth double-digit scoring effort of the season as she finished with a game-high 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting and recorded a team-high 7 rebounds in Wednesday’s game.
  • Erlana Larkins pulled down 6 rebounds during Wednesday’s matchup against Washington. She ranks seventh overall in the WNBA with an average of 7.9 rebounds per game and has led the Fever in rebounding in 10 of the team’s 14 games this season.
  • Indiana will face a Wings team that has won its last four contests after beginning the season 3-7. In their last outing, the Wings topped the San Antonio Stars 97-90 on Thursday night in Arlington.
  • The Wings are led by third-year guard Odyssey Sims, who leads the team with 16.3 points and 4.3 assists per game. Since returning from a seven-game suspension to start the season, forward Glory Johnson averages 11.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game and has posted three consecutive double-doubles. After missing the first three games of the season, All-Star guard and Notre Dame product Skylar Diggins has scored at least 19 points in each of Wings’ last three games and is averaging 12.9 points for the Wings.

Series
The Wings snagged a 90-79 victory over the Fever in the WNBA season opener on May 14 in Indianapolis. It was the first game for the Wings franchise since relocating from Tulsa last year. Indiana owns a 36-21 series record over the Wings franchise overall (18-18, Detriot; 8-2, Tulsa).

Time is running out! Reserve your seat for Tamika Catchings’ final regular season game on Sunday, September 18. Other single game tickets are on sale and start at just $13.
