Fever Look to Get Back On Track Against Washington Mystics
The Washington Mystics are in town to take on the Fever for a pair of games inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Sunday and Tuesday will be the final games of the 2021 regular season inside The Fieldhouse because of ongoing construction on the Fieldhouse of the Future renovation project.
Starting Saturday, June 12, the Fever will play home games at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum this season, which was the home court for the Indiana Pacers until 1974. Tickets are available for all remaining home games at FeverBasketball.com or fans can talk to a Fever ticket representative tonight to discuss pricing options.
The back-to-back games with Washington is the second of eight matchups the Fever face the same opponent consecutively this season. The Mystics are still without two-time WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne, but did welcome back another previous WNBA MVP in Tina Charles, who opted out of playing last season. Through the first three games of the season, Charles leads the Mystics in points, rebounds and minutes played per game.
Charles’ 34 points on Friday led the Mystics to a 101-72 win against the New York Liberty. Ariel Atkins poured in 25 for Washington’s first win of the 2021 season.
