Fever Lose to Mystics in Final Game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse This Season
INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana fell to Washington, 85-69, on Tuesday night to conclude the back-to-back series with the Mystics. The next home game for the Indiana Fever will be in 18 days at Indiana Farmers Coliseum, due to ongoing construction on the Fieldhouse of the Future renovation project, when the Chicago Sky come to town to take on the Fever.
Tiffany Mitchell led the Fever with 11 points to go along with three assists and two rebounds in her third starting appearance of the season.
Jessica Breland added her third straight game scoring in double figures with 10 points, as well as seven rebounds and a team-best five assists.
Danielle Robinson was the third Fever player to reach at least 10 points on the night. Robinson pitched in 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Victoria Vivians led all reserves with nine points on 4-of-7 shooting. Lindsay Allen poured in a new season-high seven points on 3-of-4 shooting. Allen did not turn the ball over tonight keeping her league-best assist-to-turnover ratio at 9:1 this season.
The Mystics picked up its second win of the season behind the third straight 30-point scoring output from former WNBA MVP, Tina Charles. Ariel Atkins and Myisha Hines-Allen added 18 and 15 points each.
The Fever and Mystics conclude their regular season-series at Washington on Saturday, June 19.
