  • Indiana will wrap up its two-game road getaway as the Fever travel for the first matchup of the season against the San Antonio Stars Friday night at 8:00 p.m.
  • Friday’s game will not be televised locally in Indianapolis; however, fans can watch the action on WNBA League Pass via FeverBasketball.com, or follow along with live updates @IndianaFever on Twitter.
  • San Antonio snapped a four-game losing streak in its last time out as the Stars earned a 77-70 home victory over the Seattle Storm. The Stars are led by former Notre Dame Star, Kayla McBride, who is averaging 17.1 points per game this season – currently eighth in the WNBA.
  • Through nine games this season, the Stars have struggled offensively as they have averaged the fewest points per game in the league this season; however, San Antonio currently ranks third on the defensive end as the Stars have yielded only 77.4 points per game.
  • Erlana Larkins led the Fever in scoring for the first time this season with 12 points to go with a game-high nine rebounds in Tuesday’s loss at Minnesota. Larkins is currently seventh in the WNBA this season while averaging 7.5 rebounds per game and has led Indiana in the rebounding column in eight of the team’s 11 games.
  • Larkins needs 10 boards to reach 1,000 rebounds in her seven-year WNBA career.
  • Rookie guard Tiffany Mitchell scored in double figures after a two-game stretch in which she scored fewer than 10 points, posting 11 points in 25 minutes off the bench against the Lynx. Mitchell leads the Fever in scoring, ranks second among all rookie scorers and 21st overall in the WNBA with an average of 13.4 points per game this season.

The Fever and Stars split the 2015 regular season series as each squad won on its home court. The Stars earned an 80-62 home victory over the Fever in the only meeting at San Antonio last season. Indiana holds a 16-14 record all-time over the Stars, including an 8-4 mark at San Antonio.
