Indiana Fever star guard Shavonte Zellous will have some fun when the Harlem Globetrotters come to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m., as she will play as a guest member of the Washington Generals, trying to help the infamous Generals achieve a long-awaited victory.
It has been five years since the Globetrotters and Generals have faced off, as the Generals have been retooling their roster. The 5-10 Zellous – a member of the Fever’s 2012 WNBA championship team and the sixth-leading scorer in Fever history – will try to help the Globetrotters’ long-time rivals to the franchise’s first victory over the Globetrotters since 1971.
