Fever Signs Alicia DeVaughn to Training Camp Contract

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever has signed 6-4 center Alicia DeVaughn to a training camp contract, as announced by President and General Manager Kelly Krauskopf. DeVaughn helped Maryland to the NCAA Final Four in 2014 and currently plays professionally in Tarbes, France.

At Maryland, she played in every game of her college career, averaging seven points and six rebounds over four seasons. A three-year starter with the Terrapins, she was invited to training camp with the Los Angeles Sparks, and waived last May.

Currently, she is a starter with Tarbes in the French League where she averages 7.4 points and 8.0 rebounds while teaming with Indianapolis native and WNBA star Alex Bentley.

She is the daughter of WNBA and USA Basketball great Yolanda Griffith, who retired as a member of the Fever in 2009.
