  • Indiana (8-6) meets Washington (6-6) on the road for the first time this season in an Eastern Conference matchup of the fourth and fifth place teams, respectively. Winning every game of their four-game home stand, the Fever have recorded their longest home winning streak since they won six straight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse during the 2012 season.
  • During Indiana’s current five-game winning streak, the Fever have averaged 83.8 points per game on 50.3 percent shooting while limiting opponents to 71.0 points per game on 41.0 percent shooting.
  • For the first time since the end of the 2012 regular season, the Fever have won five consecutive games as Indiana held on for an 83-80 home victory over the Tulsa Shock Wednesday night.
  • With 30 points Wednesday in the first quarter, Indiana has now scored 30 or more points in a period four times this season, equaling the number of times they scored 30 or more in a quarter all of last season.
  • The Fever finished with a season-high 42 total rebounds against Tulsa as they edged the Shock by two on the glass.

  • Catchings finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds in Wednesday’s win, her fourth double-double of the season and the 94th of her WNBA career – third in WNBA history.
  • Fever guard Shavonte Zellous returned to the floor for the Tulsa contest after missing the last eight games with a back injury; she finished with a season-high 16 points on 5-for-11 from the field and 6-for-8 from the foul line.
  • Lynetta Kizer earned her first start of the season against the Shock, finishing with four points and two rebounds. Her team-high .538 field goal percentage ranks seventh in the league overall.
  • Layshia Clarendon scored in double figures for the second time this season, finishing with 13 points and a team-high four assists Wednesday.
  • Natasha Howard totaled a career-high 11 rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench Wednesday versus the Shock.

Tamika Catchings added 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Fever. Washington scored just 16 points in the second half, the fewest the Fever have ever allowed at home in a half. The Mystics shot 8-for-43 for the final three quarters. Ivory Latta, who scored 24 points against Indiana on June 20, finished with five points. Last Games Fever: (July 15, 2015) Shavonte Zellous scored 16 points and Layshia Clarendon added 13 to help Indiana beat the Tulsa Shock 83-80 on Wednesday night. Tulsa pulled within 79-78 – the closest the Shock had been since it was 2-2 – on Karima Christmas’ two free throws with 2:14 remaining. After the teams traded baskets, Indiana’s Marissa Coleman hit the first of two free throws with 10.9 seconds left. Tamika Catchings, who finished with 11 points, grabbed the offensive rebound and then made 1-of-2 free throws with 7.1 seconds left. Tulsa’s Riquna Williams missed a 3-pointer from the wing with just seconds left. Mystics: (July 15, 2015) Allie Quigley scored 15 points and Chicago rolled to an 85-57 win over the Washington Mystics on Wednesday for the Sky’s fourth straight win. The Mystics were able to hold Elena Delle Donne, the leading vote-getter for the All-Star Game, 4-of-11 shooting for 11 points, more than 14 under her average. The Sky broke open a close game with a huge second quarter to take a 51-32 lead at the half. Stefanie Dolson led Washington with 15 points and 10 rebounds, her fourth double-double this year. Tierra Ruffin-Pratt had 13 on 4-of-6 shooting. Series Indiana faces Washington for the third time this season, heading into the contest with a 38-20 series lead. The clubs have split the season series 1-1 after a Washington victory June 20 and Fever win July 2. Indiana has taken the previous three regular season games as well as the past seven of nine at Verizon Center.
