Storylines & Promotions
- Indiana (3-4) faces the third and second place teams in the Eastern Conference in back-to-back games this Friday and Saturday. The Fever won at Madison Square Garden against the Liberty (3-3) on June 19 and return home to Bankers Life Fieldhouse June 20 for a matchup with second-place Washington.
- Maggie Lucas set career-highs with 23 points and five three-pointers in Friday’s 80-63 win at New York. Lucas scored 14 points in the first quarter on Friday, just three days after she had tied career-highs with 17 points and four three-pointers in the win at Atlanta.
- Marissa Coleman had 16 points, six rebounds, and seven assists in Friday’s victory. Coleman has scored in double figures in six of Indiana’s seven games and has led the Fever in scoring in four of seven. She is averaging 14.4 points per game.
- Indiana scored a season high in points despite playing without injured stars Natasha Howard, Erlana Larkins and Shavonte Zellous against Atlanta June 14 in the Fever’s first road win. It was Indiana’s third straight road win over the Dream.
- For the second time this season, five Fever players (Marissa Coleman, Maggie Lucas, Natalie Achonwa, Tamika Catchings and Lynetta Kizer) scored in double figures Tuesday afternoon.
- Natalie Achonwa’s rookie season is off to a promising start, as she leads all WNBA rookies in scoring. She is averaging 10.3 points per game.
- Natasha Howard (hand), Erlana Larkins (knee) and Shavonte Zellous (back) did not play in either Atlanta or New York.

Last Meeting
(August 23, 2014) Indiana and Washington last met in August 2014 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Tamika Catchings had 26 points and 11 rebounds as the Fever beat the Mystics 81-76 to sweep the best-of-three series and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Catchings’ 3-pointer with 1:34 remaining in overtime put the Fever ahead for good, 75-74. Kara Lawson scored a season-best 20 points for the Mystics. Briann January scored 13 for Indiana, and Marissa Coleman and Karima Christmas both added 10 points.

Marissa Coleman added 16 points for the Fever (3-4), who have won three of four. Indiana’s Tamika Catchings, who averages 17 points, was 0 for 10 from the field and was held scoreless for the first time in her 15-year career.
Mystics: (June 19, 2015) Plenette Pierson scored 24 points, Riquna Williams had 22 and the Tulsa Shock beat the Washington Mystics 86-82 on Friday night. The Mystics had a one-point lead with 45 seconds left after Tierra Ruffin-Pratt went 1 for 2 at the line. But Pierson made a jumper and Skylar Diggins hit a pair of free throws to put Tulsa (5-1) up by three. Washington’s Kara Lawson missed a 25-footer, and Pierson made a free throw with 1 second left.
Series
Indiana meets Washington for the first time this season, heading into the contest with a 37-19 series lead. The clubs last met in the 2014 playoffs, with Indiana earning a 2-0 series sweep, the same as it did in a 2012 playoff series. The Fever holds a 19-9 edge at Bankers Life Fieldhouse despite dropping three straight home bouts with the Mystics. Indiana won six straight home dates against Washington prior to the current streak.
