Storylines & Promotion
• The Indiana Fever tip off their 17th WNBA season Saturday night as they host the Dallas Wings Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.

• Before the game, the Fever will unveil a banner commemorating their 2015 Eastern Conference championship in the Bankers Life Fieldhouse rafters. Fans in attendance will receive a free replica of the banner along with a magnet schedule, while supplies last.

• Coming off the 2015 campaign in which they fell one game shy of winning the franchise’s second WNBA championship, the Fever capped the preseason with a 2-0 record with victories over Dallas and at Washington.

• Indiana averaged 98.5 points and outscored its opponents by 19.0 points per game in their two preseason outings, including a 108-90 win over its Opening Night opponent, Dallas, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on May 1.

• Sharpshooting guard Maggie Lucas led Indiana during the preseason with an average of 17.0 points per game while shooting 46.2 percent (6-13) from three-point range. She posted a 22-point outing against the Wings in Indiana’s win over Dallas on May 1.

• Embarking on her 16th and final WNBA season, Fever forward Tamika Catchings ranks in the top 10 in WNBA history in points scored, rebounds, assists, steals, field goals, three-point field goals, free throws and minutes played. Catchings needs 155 rebounds this season to pass Lisa Leslie (3,307) for the most rebounds in WNBA history.

• The Fever backcourt will feature a pair of promising rookies this season. Selected with the ninth overall pick in April’s WNBA Draft, the Fever selected combo guard Tiffany Mitchell from the University of South Carolina. A three-time All-American during her college career, Mitchell averaged 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Fever during the preseason. Indiana’s second-round pick, Brene Moseley out of the University of Maryland, was named the Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year and led the Terrapins to the Big Ten Tournament title at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in March. Moseley averaged 14.0 points per game and shot 6-for-9 from the field and 14-for-15 (93 percent) from the free throw line in two preseason outings.

• The Dallas Wings will play their first WNBA game after relocating from Tulsa during the offseason. The Tulsa Shock finished the 2015 season with an 18-16 record and finished in fourth place in the Western Conference before falling in the first round of the playoffs to Phoenix.
Series
Indiana split the regular season series with the Tulsa Shock last season as each team won on its home court. The Fever earned an 83-80 win over Tulsa at Bankers Life Fieldhouse last season on July 15. Overall, the Fever hold a 27-21 record in the series that dates back to the 2000 season when the Wings operated as the Detroit Shock.
