Storylines
• Indiana concludes its final weekend of play after hosting the Chicago Sky on Saturday, and Sunday finishing the 2018 slate in the Windy City.

• In a dramatic and statistics-riddled bout Saturday, the Sky emerged with a decisive 16-7 margin in the second overtime to end a game characterized by 19 lead changes and 20 ties.
— Candice Dupree scored a season-high 30 points while passing Lauren Jackson as the No. 8 scorer in league history.
— Chicago’s Courtney Vandersloot was one rebound shy of her second triple-double of the season.
— Natalie Achonwa posted her sixth double-double and matched an Indiana record with six blocks.
— Indiana had but three turnovers through four quarters, the fewest in Fever history and the fewest in the WNBA this season. But four OT miscuses help spell Indiana’s defeat.
— In the end, Chicago’s 115 points were the most ever scored against Indiana and the most in the WNBA this season. Indiana’s 106 matched the second-most in club history. It was the highest scoring game in the WNBA this year, besting the Sky’s 114-99 win over Dallas in July.

• The Fever is the first WNBA team ever to have a pair of rookies both eclipse 60 3-point field goals. Similarly, the Fever is the seventh club in league history with a pair of players to eclipse 60 3FGs. Indiana is within reach of becoming the second WNBA team ever with two players reaching 70 3-pointers.

• Indiana has lost its past three games against the Sky, but has won its last three road games at Chicago and boasts a 16-8 record all-time on the road against the Sky.

• Playing the Sky always is a homecoming of sorts for the Indiana coaching staff headed by Pokey Chatman. Chatman was Chicago’s head coach and GM for six seasons from 2011-16. Assistant coach Christie Sides was at her side for each of those seasons. Assistant coach Jessie Miller was a four-year starter at nearby UIC, and was Chatman’s video coordinator with the Sky in 2015 and 2016.

• Cappie Pondexter started on Sky playoff teams in 2015 and 2016, and Candice Dupree bears distinction as the first draft pick in Sky history.

• When the Fever visit Wintrust Arena for the first time on Sunday evening, it marks the third first-time arena at which Indiana has played this season. The Sky’s new homecourt will be the 34th different arena at which the Fever have ever played. Other new venues in 2018 included Westchester County Center (New York) and Mandalay Bay Events Center (Las Vegas).
