The Indiana Fever welcome the Washington Mystics into town Thursday night. The Fever look to snap a 0-3 start to the season, while the Mystics are at the top of the Eastern conference at 2-0. The Fever have met once with the Mystics already this season, losing 82-75 in Washington.

The Fever fell to the Los Angeles Sparks 87-70, while the Mystics defeated the Las Vegas Aces 75-70 on Tuesday night. The Fever’s Kelsey Mitchell exploded off the bench, finishing with 20 points and six rebounds. Washington’s Elena Delle Donne recorded a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds for the Mystics.

Injury Report
Indiana Fever guard Shenise Johnson (left knee ACL rehabilitation) remains out and will not play in Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks.

Storylines & Promotion
• The Fever fell to the Mystics earlier this season on May 20, 82-75. Natalie Achonwa set new career highs of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Kristi Toliver led all Mystics scorers with 16 points. The Mystics led by 15 in the third period and withstood repeated rallies as Indiana drew within six points in the fourth.

• Rookie Kelsey Mitchell dropped 20 points against Los Angeles on Tuesday and has now totaled 36 points over her last two games. She became the sixth Fever rookie ever to score 20 points in a game.

• Tiffany Mitchell scored in double figures on Tuesday night for the first time this year with 14 points. She was 6-of-12 from the field.

• Indiana matched the second-best free throw shooting night in franchise history, shooting 16-of-16 from the line. It was the Fever’s best since a record 18-of-18 effort vs. Seattle in 2013. It matched a 16-of-16 performance against New York in 2008. Rookie Kelsey Mitchell shot six for six from the charity stripe.

• Indiana’s bench contributed 38 points Tuesday night, Kelsey Mitchell had 20 of these 38 points, as five of the six reserves who saw action scored.

• Tiffany Mitchell enters the game with 28 consecutive free throws made; dating to last season. She did not get to the line in recent games against Washington and Los Angeles.

• The Fever lead the series history with the Mystics 40-29, however Washington has won the last five meetings between the teams.
