The Indiana Fever will travel to Washington to take on the Mystics after falling to the Chicago Sky in their home opener, 82-64. All four rookies earned playing time and collectively added 12 points to the Fever total. Dupree led the Fever with 14 points and eight rebounds.

Washington tips off their 2018 season against Indiana. The Mystics defeated the Fever 91-56 in preseason action. Elena Delle Donne had 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds against the Fever. Tianna Hawkins came in off the bench and also scored 15 points and contributed 11 rebounds to the Mystic win.

• All three draft picks played significant minutes in game one against Chicago last night. Kelsey Mitchell played the most out of all the draft picks with 13 minutes. Rookie Hind Ben Abdelkader was on the court for 23 minutes and added four points.

• Veteran Candice Dupree played 32 minutes for the Fever in their home opener and had 14 points and eight rebounds.

• Fever guard Shenise Johnson starts the year with an ACL injury and is not expected to return to action until later this season.

• Indiana’s Tiffany Mitchell has now made 28 consecutive free throws dating back to last season after the team’s home opener last night.
