One of the greatest players in WNBA history continued to guide the Indiana Fever during the 2020 season. Candice Dupree started every game in the regular season for the 13th time in her 15-year career.

In the NBA, there have been a few instances of twin brothers concurrently playing on the same NBA team. However on the Indiana Fever, there’s a different type of twin scenario; three players on the team actually have a twin sister, or in one case a twin sister and set of twin daughters.

For many, Veterans Day serves as a great reminder of the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces, something that we are eternally grateful for. For Indiana Fever forward Candice Dupree, every day is a chance to reflect and honor our veterans, in particular her mother, who served in the Air Force for more than 20 years.

In her 14th season, Dupree started all 34 games and averaged 11.6 points and five rebounds per game.

For Candice Dupree, it was business as usual at WNBA All-Star 2019. However, this year her role as a friend and mentor to Fever teammate Erica Wheeler became huge deal as Wheeler became the first undrafted player in WNBA history to win WNBA All-Star MVP. 

Midway through the second quarter in a win against the Wings on Friday night, Candice Dupree set her feet and drained yet another deep two, just as she had so many times over her career. This particular shot was different, though, as it gave her 1,000 points for her career as a member of the Indiana Fever.

Many times when a player, even an established veteran, heads to a new team there's an adjustment period, but for Fever forward Candice Dupree, change has had little effect on her, as despite this being her first season in Indiana, the veteran in the midst of her 12th year in the WNBA is playing as well as she ever has.

During her 11-year WNBA career, she's averaged 14.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game and made 50.3 percent of her attempts from the floor. In addition, she's shot a superb 81.3 percent from the free-throw line.
