Briann January, along with teammate Shenise Johnson and head coach Stephanie White, took part in Indy Pride’s 6th annual Bat n’ Rouge Softball Fundraising Game on Sunday. The event included a free picnic and a lively game of softball. January brought the Bri-TV crew out to Garfield Park to catch some of the action and chat with White, January and Indy Pride’s Halle Pino. During Fever media day last week, Briann January didn't just answer questions from reporters, she dished them out to her teammates as well. In her first installment of Bri-TV this season, January took us behind the scenes to see what media day looks like from a player's perspective. In the process, she spoke to three personalities who are all adjusting to something new this season. Natalie Achonwa, who is entering her rookie season in the league; Stephanie White, who is starting her first year as a head coach; and Jeanette Pohlen, who is taking to floor after losing a season due to injury.
