Briann January, along with teammate Shenise Johnson and head coach Stephanie White, took part in Indy Pride’s 6th annual Bat n’ Rouge Softball Fundraising Game on Sunday. The event included a free picnic and a lively game of softball. January brought the Bri-TV crew out to Garfield Park to catch some of the action and chat with White, January and Indy Pride’s Halle Pino. Join the Fever at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday for Diversity Night presented by the Marion County Health Department as the Fever take on the defending WNBA Champions, the Phoenix Mercury. Tipoff is at 7 P.M., and there will be a panel discussion on the court following the game focusing on the importance of diversity, and its role in sports, involving Fever player Layshia Clarendon.
