- Indiana (1-3) hosts Chicago (1-2) at home for a nationally televised matchup on ESPN2. This is the second time these two teams have met this season. Despite a strong first half from Marissa Coleman in the teams’ first meeting of the season, Indiana fell to last season’s Eastern Conference champion, 95-72. Elena Delle Donne scored 31 for Chicago, while Coleman led all Fever scorers with 18.
- The Fever will play in league’s first ESPN2 telecast of the season at Bankers Life Fieldhouse against the Sky.
- On Sunday, the Fever will pay tribute to Lauren Hill, who touched millions of lives worldwide within the past two years during her fight with brain cancer. Hill’s family, from Greendale, Ind., will be in attendance and The Cure Starts Now Foundation will be the beneficiary of donations from the Be YOUnique Fund of the Pacers Foundation, the Indiana Fever and fans. The Fever will the family as honorary team captains for the day, as part of a pregame presentation. An Indiana Fever jersey with Hill’s No. 22 will be placed on the Fever bench. Throughout the afternoon, special in-game elements and tributes from Fever players will be viewed on the Bankers Life Fieldhouse videoboard, and the Be YOUnique Fund will donate $300 to The Cure Starts Now for every layup scored in the game, by both teams.
- After dropping her first three games as head coach, Stephanie White earned her first head coaching victory against Phoenix in a nail-biter Friday evening, 77-74.
- Rookie Natalie Achonwa, after sitting out last season following knee surgery, is seeing plenty of action thus far. She recorded 10 points and six rebounds at Chicago in her WNBA debut, and most recently put up six points to go along with seven rebounds and two steals against Phoenix.
- Shavonte Zellous made her return to the Fever on Friday night, posting seven points and a team-high three steals in 27 minutes of play. She checked in at 6:08 in the first quarter and scored her first points of the season at the 5:49 mark on two free throws. Zellous was originally scheduled to play with the Croatia National Team through June.

(June 5, 2015) Elena Della Donne scored 31 points in Chicago’s win over Indiana in the 2015 season opener for both teams. The Eastern Conference champs defeated the Fever, 95-72. The Sky took a double-digit lead five minutes into the game and led by 13 at intermission, 51-38. Chicago outscored Indiana 22-14 in the final 10 minutes. Marissa Coleman scored 18 points to lead Indiana and Natalie Achonwa added 10 in her pro debut. The Fever shot just 26-of-66 from the field (39.4 percent). They hit 7-of-20 3-pointers, but committed 20 turnovers.

Fever: (June 12, 2015) Tamika Catchings recorded her 91st career double-double (27 points, 13 rebounds) Friday night in a 77-74 victory over the Phoenix Mercury. It was Indiana’s first win of the season and Stephanie White’s first of her career as the Fever head coach. Midway through the first quarter, Indiana found themselves ahead 19-7, which was the team’s largest lead of the 2015 season. Marissa Coleman finished the game with 11 points and six rebounds. For the Mercury, Leilani Mitchell capitalized on 7-of-10 3-pointers, breaking a Fever record by an opponent in a single game and finished with 25 points. Candice Dupree shot 7-of-13 for 21 points in the loss.
Sky: (June 11, 2015) Alyssa Thomas scored eight of Connecticut’s final 11 points to lift the Sun over the Sky 67-65 Thursday night. Elena Delle Donne made 10 of 20 shots and all seven of her free throws in scoring 27 points for the Sky, who came into the game averaging a league-best 94 points per game. Cappie Pondexter added 14 points and Courtney Vandersloot 13. Pondexter drove to tie the score with 10 seconds left but Thomas was fouled underneath after a pass by Alex Bentley and she made both free throws. Delle Donne missed a long 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Series
Indiana owns a 30-9 overall record against the Sky since Chicago’s first season in 2006. Since 2010 including postseason, the Fever are 22-7 against Chicago overall, including a 12-2 record at home and 10-5 on the road. In 2010 and 2012, Indiana swept the Sky in the regular and post seasons. Last season, the teams both won four games apiece extending into the postseason. The Fever have won three straight regular season home games over the Sky. Chicago’s last regular season victory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse came on June 22, 2013.
