The Indiana Fever wrap up their four-game homestand on Friday night when they host the Washington Mystics. Indiana is 6-12 after a 76-63 loss to the Connecticut Sun Sunday afternoon. Washington fell 85-81 to the Las Vegas Aces in its last game on Saturday. The Mystics enter Friday’s contest with a 9-6 record.
Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 14 points in the loss to Connecticut. Betnijah Laney, Candice Dupree and Natalie Achonwa each contributed 11. All five starters finished in double figures for Washington on Saturday. Natasha Cloud scored a game-high 18 points while Emma Meesseman and Kristi Toliver posted 15 apiece.

NOTES
- The Mystics took all three meetings last season and have won their last seven games against the Fever. Indiana leads the all-time series 40-31.
- Washington has won its last five games against Indiana in Indianapolis. The Fever’s last home win over the Mystics was on July 2, 2015.
- With her 11 points against the Sun, Candice Dupree (6,267) passed Lisa Leslie (6,263) for sixth place on the WNBA all-time scoring list. Dupree was named an All-Star for the seventh time in her career on Monday.
- Joining Dupree on the All-Star team is Erica Wheeler, who is the first undrafted player to debut in the league since 2003 and become an All-Star. Wheeler is the only player in the WNBA averaging at least 10 points, five rebounds and shooting at least 40 percent from 3-point range as of July 14.
- Wheeler also recorded the 500th assist of her WNBA career on Sunday. Her 5.5 assists per game are tied for fifth in the league through games on July 14.
- Kelsey Mitchell scored a team-high 14 points. It was the seventh time Mitchell’s lead the team in scoring this season.
- Betnijah Laney set a new career high with four assists and matched her career best of four steals. Laney’s 11 points were her second highest total of the season and one point away from tying her career high.
- Laney and Candice Dupree tied for the team lead in assists with four. It was the first time either player paced the team in assists this season.
- Teaira McCowan pulled down at least seven rebounds for the ninth time in 10 games. She is averaging 10.5 rebounds per game over that stretch.
- With a win over the Mystics, the Fever would surpass their overall and home win totals from last season.
