Fever Meet Mystics For Second Time on Sunday Night
The Indiana Fever will look to snap a two-game skid on Sunday night in the second, and final, regular season matchup with the Washington Mystics. Washington took the season opener against Indiana on July 25, 101-76.
Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell became the second fastest player in franchise history to reach 1,000 career points in Friday night’s 87-80 loss to the Minnesota Lynx. In doing so, Mitchell became the 217th player in WNBA history to reach the 1,000-point mark.
The defending WNBA champions have lost three in a row after starting the season 3-0. Washington fell to New York on Friday, 74-66. The 66 points from the Mystics tied the lowest point total scored by a team this season.
Sunday will be the first of two consecutive games the Fever will appear on ESPN 2.
