Storylines & Promotion

• The Indiana Fever wrap up a three-game road trip and a stretch of five of six games away from home Wednesday afternoon as they square off with the Chicago Sky at 12:30 p.m. (ET) at Allstate Arena.

• Wednesday afternoon’s game will not be televised locally, but fans can follow all the action by watching WNBA League Pass via FeverBasketball.com or by following live updates on Twitter @IndianaFever.

• The Fever ended a streak of five losses in six games as they bounced back to earn a 92-87 win at Dallas, who had won four straight games, in Indiana’s last outing Saturday night.

• Indiana topped 90 points Saturday night for the third time this season and for the first time since the third game of the season against Atlanta on May 20. Five Fever players scored in double figures, led by Erlana Larkins who recorded a new career high with 19 points as she shot 8-for-14 from the field and 3-for-4 from the free throw line.

• Larkins has scored in double figures five times this season with three double-doubles. She ranks eighth overall in the WNBA with an average of 7.9 rebounds per game and has led the Fever in rebounding in 11 of the team’s 15 games this season.

• Tamika Catchings added 15 points in the win over the Wings for her fourth straight game with 10 or more points and her 10th overall this season. She leads the Fever with an average of 13.0 points per game this season.

• After moving into eighth place on the WNBA’s career three-point list a week earlier, Catchings tied former Mystics guard Kara Lawson (584) for seventh place for most three-pointers made in a career with a first-quarter three Saturday night.

• Erica Wheeler was re-inserted into the starting lineup Saturday night and responded with her second consecutive double-figure scoring game, finishing with 15 points on 6-for-13 shooting in 28 minutes of action.

• Briann January scored 15 points and dished out a game-high seven assists in Saturday’s win. January currently leads the WNBA with a 3.5 assists-per-turnover ratio, having only committed 12 turnovers so far this season. She leads the Fever with an average of 4.2 assists per game this season and has led the team in assists in eight of her 10 games played this season.

• Since earning a 73-64 road win at Indiana on June 10, Chicago has lost four of its last five games, including a 79-80 loss at New York in the last outing Friday night. The Sky trailing the Liberty by 11 points with just over five minutes left in the fourth quarter Friday night. But despite ending the game on a 14-4 run, Chicago’s rally fell just short as Elena Delle Donne’s three-pointer at the buzzer fell off the mark as the Sky fell to 3-6 on the road this season.

• Continuing off of her 2015 MVP campaign, Delle Donne currently leads the Sky in points, rebounds, blocks and minutes played as she is averaging 19.7 points, 6.8 boards and 1.6 blocks in 33.4 minutes per game. Currently fourth in the league in scoring, she is shooting 46 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from three-point range on the year.

Last Meeting
(June 10, 2016) INDIANAPOLIS– The Fever struggled from the field and finished with just 64 points on the night as they could not keep up with the Chicago Sky in the second half, falling 64-73 at home. Indiana finished shooting 33 percent from the floor, including a 4-for-24 mark from long distance. Tied 21-21 at the end of the first, Chicago distanced itself with a 10-3 run to end the first half to take a 41-33 advantage into the locker room at halftime. The Fever countered with a 10-0 run to tie the game, 45-45, late in the third quarter, but never were able to lead in the second half as the Sky built their lead to as many as 14 in the fourth quarter. Briann January was the only Fever player to reach double figures as she scored a season-high 17 points while hitting three three-pointers.

Series
With Chicago’s win at Indiana on June 10, the Sky have now won five consecutive regular season games over the Fever. The Sky swept all four regular season matchups over Indiana last season, three of which came by margins of 23 or more points and by a total average of 19.8 points per game. Entering last season, Chicago had never defeated Indiana more than twice in one season. After dropping Game 1 of the 2015 Eastern Conference Semifinals series at Chicago, the Fever rallied to defeat the Sky in each of the next two games to avoid elimination and eventually advance to the WNBA Finals. Indiana leads the overall series, 30-13, including a 13-8 record at Chicago.
