The Next Chapter: Small Business Assist Program finalist

The Indiana Fever are proud to recognize The Next Chapter as one of three finalists in the Indiana Fever Small Business Assist Program presented by Old National Bank.

The Next Chapter, located in Jasper, Indiana, is a community-focused coffee and book shop owned by Jeremiah and Erin Smith. With a monthly Impact Focus supporting local nonprofits, the shop blends purpose with connection—offering books, vinyl records, and face-to-face conversations that remind us all there is always more to be written. More than a bookstore, The Next Chapter is a space for hope, encouragement, and meaningful community.

Presented by Old National Bank, the Indiana Fever Small Business Assist Program is a unique opportunity to spotlight and support outstanding small businesses across Indiana. Earlier this year, Indiana residents aged 18 or older had the opportunity to nominate themselves or a deserving small business owner.

Three finalists, including The Next Chapter, were selected. Finalists receive on-court business recognition, Fever game tickets, and their business featured in a social media spotlight video. One grand prize winner will also receive a $5,000 grand prize from Old National Bank.
