Game Recap: Fever Fall at Golden State on Sunday Night
The Indiana Fever (21-19) saw their two-game win streak snapped on Sunday night, falling on the road to the Golden State Valkyries (21-18), 75-63.
The Fever struggled from the field on Sunday, shooting just 33.3 percent from the field and 6-for-30 (20 percent) from 3-point range.
Aerial Powers led Indiana with 17 points and four rebounds off the bench in the loss. It was a season high for Powers and her most points in a game since May 25, 2023.
Kelsey Mitchell added 14 points for the Fever, while Natasha Howard finished with 13 points and six rebounds.
Iliana Rupert had a game-high 21 points for Golden State, going 8-for-12 from the field and 5-for-8 from 3-point range. Janelle Salaun and Kate Martin scored 10 points apiece, while Veronica Burton tallied eight points and 13 assists.
With the loss, the Fever dropped to eighth place in the WNBA standings, a half-game back of both Golden State and Seattle. Indiana wraps up a three-game homestand on Tuesday night in Phoenix before returning home to host Chicago on Friday.
