Game Recap: Fever Fall to Lynx Despite Hull's Career Night

The Fever fell to the Minnesota Lynx on Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, 95-90.

Indiana got off to a fast start, leading by as many as 12 in the first half, and going 10-for-14 from 3-point range. But the Lynx had whittled the lead down to 52-50 by halftime and surged ahead in the third quarter, outscoring the Fever 32-17 in the frame.

Minnesota led by as many as 14 in the second half and held on despite a late rally from Indiana that saw the Fever whittle the deficit down to five.

Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 27 points in the loss, going 9-for-20 from the field and 5-for-7 from 3-point range. Lexie Hull added a career-high 23 points, going 9-for-16 from the field and 4-for-7 from beyond the arc.

Aliyah Boston added 15 points and six rebounds, while Shey Peddy tallied 10 points and four assists off the bench, going 3-for-4 from 3-point range in her Fever debut after signing with the team on Tuesday.

Kayla McBride had a game-high 29 points for Minnesota. Jessica Shepard recorded her first career triple-double with 22 points on 10-of-11 shooting, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Fever and Lynx will meet again on Sunday night, this time in Minnesota at 7:00 PM ET.
