After two days off, the Indiana Fever look to hold on to second place in the eastern conference on Tuesday night against the Connecticut Sun at 7 p.m. ET.

After losing its first five games, Connecticut has won four of the last five games heading into Tuesday night. Forward DeWanna Bonner was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game last week. This is the second time in two weeks the Fever have played against a conference POW (vs. Las Vegas and A’ja Wilson on 8/11).

The last regular season meeting with the Sun was one of the greatest shooting performances in WNBA history. During Indiana’s 104-76 victory against the Sun in the 2019 regular-season finale, Kelsey Mitchell knocked down a WNBA record nine 3-pointers en route to a 38-point performance.

The Indiana Fever also signed free agent forward, Alisia Jenkins, to a contract on Monday. The 6-foot-1 forward most recently played with TFSE-MTK in the Hungary A-Division and was voted the All-Hungarian League Defensive Player of the Year. Jenkins played collegiately at the University of South Florida from 2012-16 and is the school’s all-time leading rebounder with 1,284 rebounds. She will arrive on Tuesday and will quarantine before joining the Fever.

The team also announced Victoria Vivians will remain out indefinitely with a right knee injury.
