The Indiana Fever face the Atlanta Dream for the second time in three days on Saturday. Indiana fell to Atlanta, 72-67, Thursday afternoon. Indiana is in search of its first win this year, while Atlanta is looking for their seventh win on the season.
The Dream held the Fever’s leading scorer, Kelsey Mitchell, to just two points Thursday, shooting 1-of-12 overall in the contest. Tiffany Hayes scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Dream. Veteran forward Candice Dupree led Indiana with 17 points and nine boards.

Guard Shenise Johnson (left knee ACL rehabilitation) remains out and will not play.
Storylines & Promotion
• Fever guard Erica Wheeler handed out a career-high 10 assists versus the Dream to become the sixth different player in Fever history with double-digit assists in a game. Wheeler is averaging 5.1 assists per game and is tied for fourth in the WNBA.
• Tiffany Mitchell and Victoria Vivians each had 13 points against the Dream on Thursday. Vivians, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft, was 3-of-4 from the 3-point line while matching a career scoring high.
• After coming off a career-high game in scoring and rebounds against Las Vegas on Tuesday night, Natalie Achonwa added 10 points and nine rebounds on Thursday. Achonwa shot 4-of-6 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free throw line for Indiana.
• In Thursday’s game, neither Atlanta or Indiana led by more than four points until an 8-0 Fever run gave Indiana a seven-point lead in the third. The Dream rallied in the fourth to score 11 unanswered points and open their own seven-point edge, 62-55, with 3:40 left in the game.
• After being named the WNBA’s Player of the Week, Tiffany Hayes scored 23 points against Indiana on Thursday. Hayes shot 6-of-18 from the field on Thursday. She shot 11-of-15 from the charity stripe with 12 free throw attempts in the first quarter alone.
• The all-time series history between Indiana and Atlanta is almost even. With the win on Thursday, Atlanta now has the 21-20 advantage over the Fever. However, Indiana has won the last three contests against the Dream inside of Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
