The Indiana Fever return to Indiana Farmers Coliseum for the first time in 49 days following the Olympic break with a matchup against the Las Vegas Aces, who are seeking its third consecutive postseason trip to the conference finals. Saturday is also the annual Breast Health Awareness game, presented by Ascension St. Vincent, which will feature many activations promoting health and wellness as part of WNBA FIT Month.

Las Vegas has won 12 of the last 13 matchups against the Fever, which includes both of the earlier matchups this season out west.

Last time out for Indiana on Friday at Dallas saw a shorthanded Fever team battle to end a three-game roadrip with an 83-81 win against the Wings. Danielle Robinson was fouled on a driving layup with 7.2 seconds remaining in the game to complete the comeback for the Fever. Robinson finished the game with a team-high 18 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists. All five Fever starters also scored in double figures for the second time in four games to help Indiana keep pace in the WNBA playoff picture. In only her third game with the Fever, Emma Cannon scored 14 of her season-high 16 points in the second half in what was also the first start of her WNBA career. Cannon signed her second 7-day contract to remain with the team on Sunday.

The Aces are led by four gold medalists from the United States at the Tokyo Olympic Games. The 2020 WNBA Most Valuable Player, A’ja Wilson, who is averaging 18.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game this season with Las Vegas, and Chelsea Gray, who is also averaging double digits in scoring this year as well, both helped capture the seventh consecutive gold medal for the U.S. Olympic Women’s Basketball Team.

Jackie Young, a Notre Dame alumna and the all-time leading scorer in Indiana high school basketball history, and Kelsey Plum both helped the U.S. win the first gold medal in 3×3 basketball.

Las Vegas picked up a win on Thursday against the Dream in Atlanta, 78-71, which was the 300th win in head coach Bill Laimbeer’s career. He joined Washington’s Mike Thibault as the only coaches in WNBA history to reach 300 wins. Wilson led Las Vegas with a game-high 21 points and 12 rebounds. Dearica Hamby came off the bench to add 20 points and nine rebounds.

The Fever return to the Coliseum on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Sparks with tip set for 7 p.m. ET. Tickets are still available and fans across the state, as well in Kentucky and Ohio, can also tune in for Fever games this year at FeverBasketball.com and the team’s official Facebook page.
