Fever Sign Micaela Kelly

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever announced today the team signed guard Micaela Kelly to a training camp contract. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

“Micaela is a quick and talented young combo guard. She is having a terrific season overseas and we look forward to having her compete for a roster spot in our training camp,” Fever Head Coach Marianne Stanley said.

Kelly was selected with the No. 21 overall selection in the 2021 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun, but was waived before the beginning of the regular season. The second leading scorer in Central Michigan University history scored 2,173 career points with the Chippewas from 2017-21. Kelly was a three-time All-MAC selection and earned All-MAC Defensive Team honors twice.

With Breidbablik in the Iceland-Subway League this season, Kelly is averaging 23.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 36.7 minutes per contest in 11 games played.
