INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever announced today the team signed forward Erin Whalen to a training camp contract. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The 6-foot-1 forward played her final three collegiate seasons at Dayton from 2019-22 after playing two years from 2016-18 at Vanderbilt.
In 142 career games played, Whalen averaged 11.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and shot 36.2 percent from 3-point range over five seasons. During the 2021-22 season with the Flyers, Whalen made 70 3-point field goals while starting 30 of 31 games played.
