Fever Sign Chelsey Perry

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever announced today the team has signed forward Chelsey Perry. The rookie forward played in the first two regular season games for the Fever against the New York Liberty to begin the 2021 regular season, before being released on May 17.

Perry will wear No. 10.

The 6-foot-2 rookie played in both preseason games this year as well against the Chicago Sky, which was highlighted by a team-high 16 points on May 9.

The Fever selected Perry from UT Martin with the 26th overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft. Perry concluded her college career as the program’s all-time leader with 228 career blocks, third all-time in scoring with 1,963 points, fourth in career field goals made with 733, fourth with 768 career rebounds and also tied for fifth with Pat Summitt for career free throws made with 368. She was a two-time Player of the Year in the Ohio Valley Conference. Perry is the first player in UT Martin history to be taken in the WNBA Draft while ranking as the highest selection in OVC history.
