Bashaara Graves Added to Indiana Fever Training Camp Roster

INDIANAPOLIS — A participant in Indiana Fever training camp in 2017, 6-2 forward Bashaara Graves has signed a training camp contract to return to the Fever in 2018, as announced by Fever Head Coach and General Manager Pokey Chatman.

Graves was drafted in the second round (22nd overall) of the 2016 WNBA Draft by Minnesota. She averaged 3.4 minutes per game during 12 games with the Lynx, before being waived in July of her rookie season. A product of the University of Tennessee, she averaged 10.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, and shot 53.8 percent during a senior campaign with the Volunteers. She finished third in UT history with 1,044 career rebounds.

Graves was waived after two preseason games with Indiana last year. She has spent the past two winters overseas with Maccabi Ramat Hen in Israel. She recently concluded an Israeli season in which she averaged a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds per game.
