Jennifer Hamson Signed to a Rest-of-Season Contract

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever have signed 6-foot-7 center Jennifer Hamson to a rest-of-season contract, as announced by President and General Manager Kelly Krauskopf.

Hamson, signed July 9 to the first of three 7-day contracts, has been signed to complete the 2017 season with the Fever. In just under 10 minutes per game, Hamson has averaged four points, three rebounds and 1.2 blocks during five games last month. She scored a season-high 11 points in last Sunday’s loss at Connecticut, and has twice contributed two blocked shots on defense.

The former two-sport athlete at BYU made two starts among 25 appearances with Los Angeles as a rookie in 2015.

The Fever, 8-16 with ten games remaining, conduct their annual Breast Health Awareness Night presented by Community Health Network on Friday, August 4 while hosting the Chicago Sky.
