Youth Fitness and Parent Wellness Clinics Scheduled for Nov. 7

Indiana Fever Forward Tamika Catchings to Host; Raise Wellness and Hunger Awareness

INDIANAPOLIS– Tamika Catchings, WNBA All-Star and MVP, 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist and 5-time Defensive Player of the year will host boys and girls ages 7-14 at the 14th Annual Catch on to Fitness Clinic, Saturday, November 7 from 1-4pm at Pike High School.

Children and parents from across central Indiana are invited to participate in the event and capture the excitement and energy this very popular program offers as youth attendees will participate in a 3 hour youth fitness clinic. Catch The Stars Foundation has also brought back its popular Parent’s Wellness Clinic, Validate Your Health!, that teaches parents healthy eating habits and ways to lead a more active lifestyle. Tamika and her volunteer team will instruct all participants whether adult or child the importance of maintaining a fit and healthy body.

The cost of the youth event is $5 plus 5 canned goods per participant. The Parent Wellness Clinic is FREE when attendees bringing at least 10 canned food items (EACH) to benefit Gleaners Food Bank of Central Indiana.
