Indiana Fever Sign Three Players to Training Camp Contracts

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever announced today the team signed Rennia Davis, Chelsey Perry and Khayla Pointer to training camp contracts.

Davis, a 6-1 forward, finished last season on the Fever roster after signing with Indiana on July 15. Drafted by Minnesota with the ninth overall pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft out of the University of Tennessee, Davis appeared in seven games for the Fever in 2022.

Perry, a 6-2 forward, was drafted by the Fever with the second pick in the third round of the 2021 Draft (26th overall) out of the University of Tennessee-Martin and appeared in six games as a rookie for Indiana in 2021 before suffering a torn right ACL.

Pointer, a 5-7 guard, appeared in 10 games as a rookie last season for the Fever. Pointer was drafted out of Louisiana State University by the Minnesota Lynx with the first pick in the second round in the 2022 WNBA Draft (13th overall) and traded to the Las Vegas Aces. She was waived by Las Vegas before the start of the regular season and signed with Indiana on June 14.

The Fever, who have the first overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, open training camp on April 30. They will tip off the regular season by hosting the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday, May 19. For ticket information, please visit FeverBasketball.com.
