The city of Orlando has created the OneOrlando Fund to provide a way to help respond to the needs of the Orlando community, now and in the time to come, after the effects of the Pulse nightclub tragedy. OneOrlando will raise and distribute funds to nonprofits that are supporting the victims and families; the LBGTQ, Hispanic, faith and other affected communities; and underlying causes of this tragic event. Alex Martins — the Orlando Magic CEO — has taken a leadership role in the fund, and it is supported by a broad coalition of business, community and government leaders.
The distribution of funds will be administered by the Central Florida Foundation, which serves as the region’s community foundation. The Magic, the DeVos Family Foundation, the NBA and the NBPA are making donations in support. Please click here if you would like to make a contribution.
