INDIANAPOLIS – Fever guard Danielle Robinson poured in a season-high 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting in Saturday night’s 82-77 loss at the Washington Mystics.
Indiana built a lead as large as 12 in the first quarter behind nine points in the opening interval from Robinson, as well as seven points from Kelsey Mitchell and Tiffany Mitchell each.
Indiana and Washington had six lead changes in the fourth quarter, but Washington gained advantage with 5:30 remaining in the game and never relinquished the lead the rest of the way.
Tiffany Mitchell continued her increased offensive outputs with 18 points for the game on 6-of-10 shooting. Over the last seven games, Mitchell is averaging 13.1 points per game.
Kelsey Mitchell reached double figures again with 13 points, while Teaira McCowan led the Fever bench with 12 points and seven rebounds.
For Washington, Tina Charles led all scorers with 30 points and 15 rebounds. Theresa Plaisance added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
