Game Preview: Indiana Begins Four-Game Road Trip in Dallas

The Indiana Fever visit the Dallas Wings on Thursday night at the College Park Center. This will be the first of three regular-season matchups between the Fever and the Wings.

Indiana enters the game coming off an 89-87 win agaisnt the Chicago Sky. The Fever trailed by as many as 15 in the game, including a 13-point halftime deficit. The Fever responded with a 35-point third quarter, putting them in position to complete the comeback. Rookie forward NaLyssa Smith led the way for the Fever, scoring a career-high 26 points. Guard Kelsey Mitchell contributed 13 points and tied her career-high with nine assists. Indiana would outscore Chicago 33-21 in bench points thanks to double-digit scoring performances from Lexie Hull and Emma Cannon.

For Dallas, the Wings are coming off an 80-75 road loss to the Atlanta Dream. Dallas trailed by 11 after the first half and was able to cut the Atlanta lead down to just one after the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, however, the Wings scored just nine points on 3-of-15 shooting. Guard Allisha Gray led Dallas with 18 points and six rebounds. Guard Arike Ogunbowale and center Teaira McCowan each scored 14 points.
