Fever Seek Win Against Improving Connecticut Sun

BRADENTON, Fla. –The Indiana Fever face a surging Connecticut Sun team on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET. After a 0-5 start to the 2020 regular season, Connecticut sits 8-10 and currently with the No. 7 seed in the WNBA Playoff seeding.

DeWanna Bonner led Connecticut with 22 points in Tuesday’s loss against Las Vegas, including 15 of Connecticut’s 36 first-half points.

Connecticut was without Alyssa Thomas, who did not play due to an injured hand.

Jasmine Thomas did not play because of plantar fasciitis and is doubtful for Saturday’s game.

In the first meeting between Connecticut and Indiana back on August 18, Connecticut narrowly led 50-49 with under two minutes left in the third quarter, but closed on an 8-3 run.

Bonner finished 11-for-20 from the field in the first meeting, while Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 15 points.
