Game Preview: Fever vs Mystics

After an unprecedented offseason, the 2020 Indiana Fever season begins on Saturday night against the Washington Mystics. Tip against the 2019 WNBA champions is set for 5 p.m. ET.

Making her debut at the helm, Fever Head Coach Marianne Stanley will look across the court at the team she served as an assistant coach for the last decade. Stanley was announced as the seventh Fever head coach in franchise history back on November 26.

“I don’t know if that was by design by the league or what,” Stanley told reporters earlier this week regarding the opening game against her former team.

Washington will be without both former WNBA MVP’s on their roster in Tina Charles and Elena Delle Donne.
