Fever and Lynx Tip Off Friday Night

The Indiana Fever meet the WNBA all-time rebounding leader, Sylvia Fowles, and the Minnesota Lynx on Friday night at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Fowles moved atop the list earlier this season, while Fever Vice President of Basketball Operations, Tamika Catchings, sits third on the all-time list. The all-time leading rebounder missed Minnesota’s last game on Wednesday to rest a calf injury.

In Fowles’ absence, Bridget Carleton scored a career-high 25 points, Lexie Brown had a season-high 15 points and career-best seven steals, and the Lynx beat the New York Liberty 93-66 last time out.

Minnesota has won the last three games after dropping a 90-66 decision to Seattle on July 28. The Lynx are averaging 84.3 points per contest in the current 3-game winning streak.

The two teams will conclude the regular season on September 12 against each other at 6 p.m.
