Tamika Catchings Surprises Former Fever Teammate Allison Feaster In A One-Of-Kind Moment

Wednesday afternoon turned into a trip down memory lane for former Indiana Fever player, and current Boston Celtics Vice President of Player Development, Allison Feaster.

It started with a special surprise but from a familiar face. At the end of Celtics shootaround, Feaster was shocked to see her former Fever teammate and current Fever general manager, Tamika Catchings making her way onto the court. The surprise part, Catchings walked in wearing Feaster’s no.21 Fever jersey.

“She’s one of the players that has like the utmost respect amongst current and former players. She’s a GOAT, like in the literal sense of the expression of the word. [So] to be greeted, you know, coming back to Indiana that was really a treat.”

Later that day as the Celtics prepared to face off against the Indiana Pacers, Feaster would once again see her jersey on the shoulders of another. However, this time it was Celtics forward Grant Williams, who proudly wore her Fever jersey as he arrived at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Then possibly the best moment of all, during pregame warm up, Feaster enjoyed a quick reunion with Pacers assistant coach Jenny Boucek and Pacers assistant general manager Kelly Krauskopf. True pioneers that continue to transcend in both the WNBA and NBA.
