Years Pro: 10
Acquired: By Indiana via free agency on 2/3/21
Overview: Arguably the most impactful offseason signing via free agency by the Indiana Fever, Danielle Robinson stepped into a much-needed starting role in her first season with Indiana. Robinson averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 27.4 minutes per contest in 24 games this season. The 5-foot-9 guard started every game played this year, but missed the last eight games of the season after suffering a right ankle injury against the Las Vegas Aces on August 28. Despite missing the last eight games, Robinson still finished the year with the second most assists on the team. When the 2022 regular season begins, Robinson will start with 1,257 career assists for 18th most all-time and currently trails Katie Smith in 17th with 1,258. Robinson also led the team in charges taken this year with 23.
June 19: Robinson scored a season-high 19 points twice during the 2021 season, including against the Washington Mystics on June 19, on 8-of-11 shooting to go along with six assists
July 3: The second 19-point effort came in a win against the Connecticut Sun. She also finished with five rebounds and went 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
July 11: In the final game before the Olympic break, Robinson distributed a season-high nine assists against the Atlanta Dream. The nine assists were a season-high for a Fever player as well.
August 20: In what would be the final full game of Robinson’s season and with seven total players active against the Dallas Wings, Robinson finished with 18 points, five rebounds and five assists for the win.
