Former Indiana Fever legend, WNBA MVP and four-time Olympic gold medalist Tamika Catchings will take to the skies with American aerobatic pilot Kirby Chambliss on Wednesday, Aug. 1, as Chambliss continues to prepare for the Red Bull Air Race event Oct. 6-7 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The flight will start 10 a.m. (ET) at Eagle Creek Airport.
This is the third year that the Red Bull Air Race has come to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, bringing international attention to the Racing Capital of the World as competitive pilots from all over the world fly at 200 mph through Air Pylons over the IMS infield. Chambliss, from Tucson, Arizona, is a two-time World Champion in the world’s most prestigious aerobatic racing series.
