Stats: In her second season as a member of the Indiana Fever, Tiffany Mitchell was again effective coming off the bench. Mitchell played in 27 games this year, starting nine. She played an average of 29.9 minutes per night, averaging 10.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals. Mitchell shot 34.9 percent from the floor, 24.6 percent from beyond the arc and 92.2 percent from the free-throw line. Her minutes, points, rebounds and steals per game, as well as her free-throw percentage, were all improvements from her rookie season. Unfortunately her season ended prematurely, as Mitchell missed the final seven games of the year due to a knee injury.

Notable Performances:

May 14 vs. Seattle: In the season opener, Mitchell scored 17 points in 19 minutes of action. She made six of her nine attempts, including going 2-of-4 from the 3-point line.

June 3 vs. Dallas: In an early season 91-85 victory over the Wings, Mitchell played 33 minutes and finished with 14 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals. She was a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line in the win.

June 18 vs. Sky: Mitchell scored a season high 19 points to lead the Fever to a 91-79 win over the Sky. She shot 7-of-12 from the floor, 1-of-1 from beyond the arc and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe. Mitchell also contributed four rebounds, five assists and two steals.
