Stats: In her first season in Indiana, Candice Dupree proved she’s still one of the WNBA’s best players. She missed only one of the team’s 34 games, serving as a starter for the other 33. Dupree led the team in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. She made 49.4 percent of her attempts from the floor and shot 88.2 percent from the free-throw line. For her efforts, Dupree was named to her sixth WNBA All-Star game as an Eastern Conference reserve.

Notable Performances:

June 7 vs. Phoenix: Dupree showed up ready to play in her first game against her former team. Though the Fever didn’t earn the victory, Dupree made her mark with 23 points and six rebounds. She made six of her 13 shot attempts and 11-of-12 free throws.

June 9 vs. Seattle: In an early season win over the Storm, Dupree paced the Fever with a double-double, finishing with 16 points and 12 rebounds. She played a team high 35 minutes that night, going 7-of-12 from the floor and 2-of-4 from the charity stripe.

August 6 vs. Minnesota: In the Fever’s best moment of the season, Dupree shone brightest, scoring a season high 31 points on 15-of-21 shooting to lead Indiana to an 84-82 win over the Lynx. She played a team high 36 minutes and also led the Fever in rebounds with nine.
