Stats: Briann January appeared in 25 games, starting 24, during her ninth season as a member of the Indiana Fever. The veteran point guard averaged 9.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. January shot 39.5 percent from the floor, 31.6 percent from beyond the arc and 81.7 percent from the free-throw line. She missed the final seven games of the season after suffering a knee injury.

Notable Performances:

May 14 vs. Seattle: In the season opener, January scored 23 points, which would end up being her highest scoring total for the season and would also tie her career-high. She made eight of her 14 shot attempts, including four 3-pointers. She also racked up three assists and a steal in the close loss to the Storm.

June 3 vs. Dallas: In an early season 91-85 win over the Wings, January went 5-of-6 from the floor and a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe to finish with 16 points. She also had two rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block in the victory.

July 19 vs. Phoenix: Against the Mercury in mid-July, seven was the key number for January. During the Fever’s 84-77 win, she finished with seven points, a season high seven rebounds and seven assists.
