Olympic basketball group play has come to an end, and the four women’s quarterfinal games will be held on Tuesday. Both Tamika Catchings (USA) and Natalie Achonwa (Canada) helped their nations advance to the quarterfinals.
The top four teams from each group advanced, with the two group winners, Australia and Team USA, going undefeated through their five-game round robin.

Canada won its first three games in Group B before falling to the United States (81-51) on Friday and Spain (73-60) on Sunday to finish in third place at 3-2. Canada will take on France, the second-place team out of Group A, at 9:15 p.m. ET.
